Chronic pain is a challenging condition resulting in disability, emotional upheaval and family dysfunction.
People concerned about someone with chronic pain suffer from characteristic dysfunctional behaviors that must be addressed if the person with chronic pain is to recover. Often families wonder whether or not the pain is "real" or not, or believe that pain based in emotions is less "valid" than physical pain.
This session will review the emotional aspects of pain and suffering from a physiological and psychological standpoint and explain the basis of meditative techniques and the fundamentals of mindfulness practice.
After viewing this webinar, participants will:
