Course Description
This webinar provides an opportunity for professionals to look at recent developments in workplace mental health including research, legislative requirements and evolving standards. Both ability management at the individual level and psychological health and safety at the organizational level will be addressed.
During this webinar, attendees will:
- Learn the economic, business and legal factors that make investment in workplace mental health worthwhile
- Learn a framework for approaching individual ability management when mental health issues may be involved
- Gain an understanding of new legislative requirements and national standards as related to workplace mental health
Margaret Tebbutt
Margaret Tebbutt was previously the Senior Consultant for Workplace Initiatives, with the BC Division of the Canadian Mental Health Association. She managed CMHA’s annual National Bottom Line Conference on workplace mental health, and delivered workshops to help managers and union leaders develop the knowledge and skills to more effectively deal with mental health issues.
