Course Description
Catching chronic pain in the early stages can help reduce a workers' chance of becoming a long-term disability claimant. Learning to recognize and treat chronic pain in it's early stages can be confusing.
Dr. Howard Hamer will show the importance of recognizing and treating chronic pain in its early stages as well as providing early interventions and support in the workplace.
During the session you will learn:
To understand the diagnostic differences between chronic pain & Chronic Pain Disorder DSM IV (Somatic Systemic Disorder, DSM V)
To recognize early signs of Chronic Pain Disorder (CPD)
To appreciate the need for early intervention and on site support to prevent CPD
