Course Description
While pain is not all in your brain, we do know from research that depression and other mental health issues can be directly related to chronic pain suffering.
Dr. Ingrid Fedoroff walks us through some of the important ways that pain and psychology are connected and provides some valuable tools that can help you manage your pain.

Ingrid Fedoroff, PhD, R.Psych.
Ingrid Fedoroff is currently a clinical psychologist at the Complex Pain Centre at St. Paul's Hospital. She also holds the position of Clinical Instructor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of British Columbia. She obtained her PhD from the University of Toronto and completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry UBC. Her specialties include psychological aspects of chronic pain, posttraumatic stress disorder, mood and anxiety disorders. She is actively involved in teaching and clinical supervision of psychology graduate students and psychiatry residents.
