Course Description

Migraine is the most common headache  in the general population. It is often underdiagnosed and inadequately  treated despite generations of human suffering. Recent research has led  to a better understanding of migraine as a brain disorder and has  created opportunities for more effective treatment.

Clinical Professor and Director of Undergraduate Education

Gordon Robinson, MD

Dr. Gordon Robinson is a Clinical  Professor and Director of Undergraduate Education in the Division of  Neurology at the University of British Columbia.He is on staff at  Vancouver General Hospital where he is the medical manager of Neurology. For over 20 years his practice has consisted of the assessment and  management headache disorders. He has been involved in providing  headache education to the public, physicians, and other health  professionals. Dr. Robinson is a member of the Canadian Headache  Society, American Headache Society and the International Headache  Society.
